A group of cheerful, rhythmic, and dance-loving yet somewhat confused characters. Where did they come from? Where are they going? They marvel at the place, the weather, and the wind. They are very interested in birds. Are they birds? If so, a new and very fascinating kind.
MINNA KROOK DANS is a dance company that creates performances for children and adults. Founded in 1999, it is led by choreographer Minna Krook, recipient of the 2020 Cullberg Prize.
The company is based in Stockholm but tours extensively throughout Sweden and is well-known and beloved across the country. It has also performed internationally. Krax Krax will tour the USA in May 2025, with performances in New York and Washington. Minna Krook is one of Sweden’s most renowned choreographers of dance performances for children. She created Sweden’s first dance performance for babies, Ah hallo bebis, which received great acclaim. Her production BORTA!, performed for children since 2004, has been described by dance critics as a “classic.”
