Kärrkosmos is an interactive performance, a soundscape bubbling with sour water, smells and the varying colors found in a wetland. By camouflaging in the swamp the participants get to explore the wildlife and the mystical sounds and movements of the swamp. Together, we ask ourselves if we, by camouflaging as an animal, an insect or a plant, are able to get closer to nature, and challenge the views that are making humans superior to nature. In a time of climate challenges, we bring together artistic, scientific and philosophical perspectives in a choreographed audio installation.
We will gather at Bagarmossens Folkets Hus, Lillåvägen 44, Bagarmossen.
The entire show is performed outdoors in a swamp. Please dress accordingly! We recommend rubber boots and trousers, and a raincoat if it’s raining.
