Join our Beatbox & Dance Workshop — an energetic deep-dive into rhythm, voice & movement! Led by iconic performer François Chaignaud and master beatboxer Aymeric Hainaux, this workshop invites you to explore their unique performative language — a playful mix of sound, body and expression. Each part is 1, 5 hour long and the whole workshop will be 3 hours. You’ll also get a behind-the-scenes look into the creative process behind Mirlitons which they will present at STHLM DANS.

The workshop will be held in English, and all levels and backgrounds are welcome!

François Chaignaud is a multidisciplinary artist working as a dancer, choreographer, singer, and writer. He began studying dance at the age of six and graduated from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris in 2003.

Aymeric Hainaux is a French artist and beatboxer with a background in visual arts. Hainaux has developed a unique and personal style within human beatboxing, creating complex soundscapes without the use of effects or loop pedals — relying solely on his voice and a microphone.
